Therm-a-Rest Reviews
Very comfortable, lightweight, and easy to fit in my bag. For someone around 6' tall this mat was long and wide enough and kept me warm.

I own a small sailing kayak and enjoy camping out on some of the spoil islands in the Inter Coastal Waterway of South Florida. With limited space for provisions etc. it was a big decision to bring a mattress as large as this with all the rest of my camping gear. However as a 60 year old, getting a good nights rest is crucial when you're camping out, especially on an island. I can honestly say that it was worth the effort and I slept much better on the Dream Time than on the blow up air mattress I tried once before. I'll make room for almost anything on my boat if it adds to my overall comfort and Zappos shipping and return policy made for an easy "test run". I'm looking forward to more adventures, island camping and sweet dreams.
Great backpacking sleeper, would recommend it to anyone looking for great support with virtually no weight added in your backpack. If you are a light sleeper then the pad definitely makes a bit of rustling noise. It takes a couple of times to get used to it when you shift around.
These are very functional and comfortable. These were a great addition to our usual hiking/camping supplies, and felt great to have the back support to relax after a day of hiking. Buy the correct size, as therm-a-rest comes in more than one size. Zappos provided a fast delivery and I am literally a happy camper!
I've car camped for almost 30 years and always used an air mattress or a cot. I bought 2 therm-a-rest to take on a cycling trip with my husband. To my surprise, the therm-a-rest was much more comfortable. I wake up with my hips hurting on an air mattress, but with the therm-a-rest, no hip pain. I loved the convenience of the self inflating. If I had only known I would have bought them years ago!
I bought this for my son for scouts. He liked this versus sleeping on the hard ground. It is easy to set up and take down. Folds up small enough to put in backpack.
This pad rocks! We just got back from a 2 week camping trip where we used these throughout. We slept wonderfully on these each night. They are super comfortable even for side sleeping. They also do no slide around when you are sleeping on them. Lastly, they are quick to set up and when rolled up form a small 4 inch radius cylinder of 12 inch height.
I have not used that many air mattresses, but for something as compact as this, I can't imagine it getting much better. Its light weight, made of durable material, and I like the design of the valve for inflating it. Way more comfortable than the military cots I often have to sleep in when touring the Taliban countryside.
Solid thermarest. I've used various over the years, including the pro series. This pad may not have quite as thick a cover, but otherwise its very similar. I like the surface being rubberized so you don't slide off as easily. I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for a thermarest without needing to spend a ton on the pro series.

Great mattress for camping. I'm taking it on a two night canoe trip next weekend. It rolls up nice & tight and provides maximum comfort for it's size.
