Slap

These watches are really cute and fun. I now have them in both the large and junior sizes. Please note that these are just inexpensive rubber, fun watches. Do not plan on having the faceplates/batteries last too long. Also, they do get a little warm on your wrist if it is hot out. The rubber obviously cannot breathe. But who cares? Just slip them off for a second! And another thing; the large watches are big! I must say that I get compliments every time I wear the large animal-print ones, and I love the bling. They are very easy to put on and take off since they are magnetic (hence the word "slap"). And with the large watches, the face is easy to read. All of that being said, of the two watches I ordered from from Zappos, one arrived with a dead battery, and the other was the wrong size. When I contacted Zappos, they said they could not replace the battery, and they were now out of the other watch. Although Zappos promptly compensated me with a free watch, I obviously could not get the one watch I wanted and indeed ordered. Zappos also told me they could not take care of future battery issues, that I would have to contact the manufacturer directly. I therefore recommend ordering directly from the manufacturer, not Zappos. When I contacted Slap Watch for an extra faceplate/battery, they not only sent the one I needed, they threw in extra ones of different colors and styles, and even a large watch for my troubles, all free of charge. Their customer service was excellent, and they got them to me in only a few days. Their prices are about the same as Zappos, and they have a better selection than Zappos. It is up to you. I love these kitschy watches, though and I plan to buy more for this summer. They are inexpensive enough to buy one to match every outfit! As for this specific junior black bling watch, it is the one Zappos gave me free of charge, so it would not have been my first choice. I have found, though, that the black goes with everything, and it is more conservative than the large ones. So I still think it is a keeper.

My girls loved the watches when they saw them, but one of them, for my daughter, stopped working immediately. As we are in Europe now, it's not convenient to return it, so we replaced battery, but didn't work. Too bad.Great looks, poor mechanics.

I really like these, especially the ease of on/off and second hand when you are working out. The only flaw is the face holder stretches out after time, and the watch falls out of the holder...my first watch broke after several times falling out.

Love it... Fits great, feels great and looks great. I bought 2 of them different colors so I can interchange the face of the watch. Very light and comfortable at gym!

I love this watch. It's fun and light. It does the Job! Wish Zappos could sell extra straps only. :)

Perfect design for your children because they get it on and off easily themselves. I just wish the watch face had all 12 numbers on it.

The watch was nice, but after a week the minute hand broke loose, thus rendering the watch useless. Considering it's a slap watch I figured it would be more durable.

I think the Jr slap watch is okay if you are looking for a cool and cheap piece of metal with some blue rubber. The clock fell apart on the first day I got it. I just do not think it's worth the money.

Bought this at the request of my 11 year old grand-daughter for her birthday. She's very happy with it. Nice happy color. :)

I was looking for a simple watch to replace the one I recieved for christmas that had fell on my tile floor, breaking the face. I was happy with this pick.

Even when the first watch broke, the watch face fell out from the band and gone, on my second day of wearing it. Zappos was kind enough to send me a replacement for nothing. Great customer service Zappos.

We like the Slap Watch, it's cute. I bought two of them for my two daughters (age 10 and 14) and the watch is bulky on their tiny wrists. This is not a small watch. I also didn't think it would be a problem that the watch only had a number 6 on the face - but my daughters really have a hard time telling the time. (unless it's 6:30!) I would not buy this watch for any child under 12.

Love the bling! I've only had it a few days but seems to be working just fine. Super cool watch for cheap. The smaller size fits my average wrist too.

I ordered four of these as gifts Two of them were defective upon receipt. However, Zappos promptly replaced them. I give high marks to Zappos but low marks to the product.

Slap watch is awesome! Just wish it had some kind of box, it was given as a gift, my sister wears it all the time.

I really like this watch! It is great looking and for the price I can overlook small things like its tendency to ride up my wrist slightly. I have two - the colors are great.

This is a nice watch. The adjustable band is nice. It does not come gift wrapped. It did not include who the gift was from when mailed even though I called in my order. They did followup with me very quickly. I would buy again.
