This was my first pair of Alegria Shoes and I absolutely love them! They fit perfectly out of the box and soothed my plantar fasciitis plagued feet. I have to walk long distances and had begun to actually limp. These were instant relief. My feet are not really narrow, but most shoes are a little wide in the heel; these are perfect. I got the Red Butter and find them jazzy but not too wild. I now own four pairs of Alegria shoes. I wear a 7½ and get a 37 which always fits fine. Alegria makes the best shoes ever!

I really love these, but the 37 was too big and the 36 pressed on the top of my foot which bothered my hallux limitus.

I have been trying and trying to find a pair of Alegrias that work for me because I like the rocker style since I hurt the ball of my foot. I like the great variety of prints that Alegria offers to make "nurse" shoes look more fashionable and cute. However, even with the two adjustable straps these still do not fit right and not in terms of length or width but the material is so flimsy that it sinks in when you walk and makes a loud "squish" noise as the toe box falls in towards my toes. Odd, I have never experienced this before. Disappointed. Well, the search goes on.

alrighty. I'm thinking about whether to return these or keep them. They are great comfort, expensive pattern and materials but they also make my size 8 feet (I ordered 38 since I fall in the 7 1/2-8 range)look like size 9.! I'm in love with the copper flower effect, so rich. I like the adjustable heel and instep straps. I haven't been able to wear the Alegria Carina thongs lately because their strap doesn't tighten enough. I own 5 pairs of Alegria clogs in the Isabelle last (higher heel, slight heel cup) which I've worn even in Costa Rica and San Miguel Mexico. The Isabel doesn't have the 1/4 inch rim that the Jemma has therefore are more becoming while still being unusually comfortable. I can wholeheartedly reccommend the Jemma for comfort. Alegria is a wonderful shoe.

I was so excited to get these because I have seen so many on your feet all day types wearing this brand. I got the copper flower print and they are cute. I do think the footbed could be comfortable for all day wear. Unfortunately the fabric is too flimsy and buckles in weird on my smaller foot and makes a wooshing sound when I walk. Bummer. I am still determined to find a pair of alegrias that will work for me for my ball of the foot pain. I wanted a cute shoe with a rocker like altras and since I hurt my foot I only have my running workout shoes. Need something for work and walking to events etc.

Comfortable shoe but not really my style, which is why I am returning it. I normally take a size 6 in shoes and 6.6 in sneakers. I ordered 2 different Alegria shoes both in a 36. This one fit while the other was too big. I have learned sizing can vary depending on the style shoe. Hopefully Alergria will correct this problem. Thank you Zappos for the great service!

Great looking shoe and comfortable except for there was more that a half inch of shoe left over behind my heal. I had the strap out as far as it would go so my foot was really shoved forward. It seemed as though the strap was too short. Will return them.

I am guessing that these would be very comfortable shoes if you have wide feet. I wish they made them in narrows.

I agree with another reviewer. These shoes run short, my toes were pressed up against the front of the shoe. I'm a true 9, so these should have fit me. I am disappointed because they are such a great shoe, otherwise.

Very disappointed. I have bought Alegria brand in the past and loved them but these are not the same quality. I bought these because they have adjustable straps. But they only work if you want them to be tighter. I needed them to be looser on the top as I have high insteps, but every time I take a step the Velcro pops off! Very frustrating. Also the footbed is very narrow and grooved, which makes it painful to step down on. I took them to the Cobbler and he said he's been getting a lot of Alegria shoes in ever since they started making them in China. I had him add additional Velcro so I could adjust the straps but they are still popping off. For the price they should have had adjustable buckles. They are super cute but not worth the frustration and pain.
