These sandals are great! I have a lot of trouble with sore feet and these are comfortable to wear and my arches don't ache because of the arch support. Another big plus is they are super colorful and fun! I am glad that I made this purchase! Thank you Zappos!

Thank you Zappos for the wonderful and quick service. This shoe is perfect for me. I have severe endema and wear black compression stockings and needed a sandal to allow my feet some summer freedom. I had to put another hole in each strap to accomodate my thick feet, but it worked and still had enough strap to go through the buckle.

This was my first time ordering a Birkenstock shoe. I had heard only positive experiences from people who wore them, so was looking forward to getting Papillio Tabora sandals. I do have a wide width foot (7W), but not exceedingly so, and somewhat flat feet. I read many of the reviews, and read how people with whom I identified wore these sandals "right out of the box." I got them, expected to experience what I'd read about...that people were able to go on walking excursions with no break-in period etc. I put the sandals on and could not have experienced more discomfort. I felt like I was walking on hard bumpy pieces of wood. No matter where I adjusted my foot in the along the footbed, it was very uncomfortable. I am glad that I can return them without having to pay for shipping with Zappos, but I am so disappointed this did not work out, because they look cute for my purposes. Perhaps I don't have enough experience with Birkenstocks? Still, I could barely walk 15 steps; and I tried on a few occasions, much less allow for "break-in" period. I'll give 2 stars because the bed surface is non-irritating, but otherwise I cannot imagine what all the rave is about. I feel left out, and let down. Oh well. Thank you for easy return policy. I'll continue to shop with Zappos.

Zappos wow'd me! I received my Birkenstockes the next day after ordering. They were exactly as explained! I love them. Zappos wrote cute little notes that made me smile. I will order from them again and again! Thank you Zappos!

I have worn Birks for years and have never been disappointed . This style is more like a flip flop which makes your toes grab on more.

I did not follow the previous reviewers advice... stating that this shoe ran 1/2 larger. Please order this shoe in a size down from your normal wearing size. I am now going to reorder this shoe in a smaller size.

Very cute and comfortable. The metallic is beautiful and subtle. It goes with everything. I will be in it all summer. I usually wear a size 36 in European sizes. That is what I ordered and it fits perfect.

These sandals are hard as a rock. The foot bed is very hard and unforgiving. The leather upper is extremely hard as well and causes friction and irritation. I couldn't even walk around the house for more than 10 minutes in them. They also felt wide and I had to notch them in to snug them up. Regardless, the fit is just too uncomfortable. It's a shame, they are cute, but they must go back.

I'm so, so sad that these must got back. They're adorable and supposedly good for plantar fascia. The plastic piece between the toes rubbed blisters. The right shoe had rough edges on the plastic, which I is the reason I have two blisters on that foot. I'm so disappointed...I've worn Birkenstocks and Papillos for years and have never had a problem until now.

I'm a faithful birki, papillio wearer. This was my purchase for the spring so I've only worn them in the house to gently break them in. I bought them for style and they are way cute. A bit less comfy than the double strap style due to toe grip but time will tell.

Love the look! It's fun and funky. But, for me, the strip between my toes will take some getting used to.

These are so gorgeous. The material is very modern and the color neutral. They do run big. I'm an 8.5 or 9 US and always a 39 Euro. Birkenstock's 39 is a full size too large for me.

I love these shoes! I ordered these shoes after finding nothing that was comfortable to walk in with Plantar Fasciitis. These are a godsend, and I love the metallic silver color! I wear them with everything. They take a few weeks to break in, but once they're broken in, they are absolutely amazing! I love them, and I wish they had shoes for me to buy for winter! They were there for me when my Keens weren't doing the job!

The Papillio Gizeh in Silver Metallic are super comfy, without looking frumpy all the while maintaining a stylish look. A perfect pair of sandals to walk to/from the office before slipping on those sky-high heels.

These were the "It" sandals in Denmark when I visited this summer; I was DYING for a pair. I could not find any in Copenhagen, so I ordered them from Zappos for arrival when I got home. The style is just terrific. These are very comfortable. But for my truly terrible feet, I find that they do not provide the level of support I need to go for long hours of wear. If I am doing shopping or lots of walking, I cannot get by in these; ironically, a much less expensive FitFlop provides more support! If you have flat feet you will find these do offer arch support but for this person at least, not enough to get through an active weekend. My legs and feet ache if wear these for more than a few hours. I am not obese or elderly - just flat-footed! For the average person, I think these are great sandals. They work best for me at a casual social event like a backyard barbeque.

Our daughter, who is a college senior, has some problems with her knees. The ordinary flip-flops just do not cut it! These shoes not only look great, but are much better for her feet! Thanks Zappos for great service!

Love my new Birks! Love Zappos service. Got the wrong ones and they sent these to me with upgraded shipping! These are so stylish and have the Birkenstock comfort!

I got these sandals for myself, usually a 7 1/2, but gave them to my daughter who wears an 8 1/2. She wasn't too sure about the style in the beginning, but the comfort was too good to give up. They look great on her with skirts, shorts or pants and I'm glad to see her in something with good arch support.

These are great! I add my agreement to the reviewer who said it was about time Birkenstock (Papillio) came out with a great flip-flop. If you want one to go to the pool in and get wet all the time I suggest you get a different shoe. These are great with shorts, jeans or skirts. The between the toe thingie hurt for the first day, but I wore them for two days straight and the second day they stopped hurting. Just had to get used to them a bit. I love them.
