I got these shorts to replace an older pair I run in. I have a fairly big bum compared to my waist size, which makes buying comfortable running and exercise shorts difficult. I normally wear a size 4/6 in regular women's jeans and got a medium in this. For reference, I like my shorts a bit baggy since the short material doesn't stretch at all. The liner does, however, have some stretch.
A very light, very minimalist shoe. Nothing wrong with that if it's what you're looking for. Thin, comfy soles underneath. Top is very thin- good for breathability but not so much for comfort. I ended up returning these because I'm slightly OCD and everything about these is crooked. From the laces to the tongue and the way it sits on your foot. If you don't mind things being "off" or never look down at your foot, you may really enjoy these.
I was *this* close to keeping these. Really liked them when I first put them on. Snug enough to feel the support, especially in the arch, but no where near uncomfortable. These would be great for casual wear or a cross-training workout. But I ultimately returned because the next time I put them on they started to look like orthopedic shoes to me. Or ones that you've seen before with two giant velcro straps. I couldn't unsee that so they went back. Maybe that's just my perception though...
Not too thick. fit very well. I was doubtful and skeptical, as in seeking comfortable, well fitting, non-bulky quarter sox I was disappointed in 5 brands! I am very pleasantly surprised and pleased by these! Finally, a quarter sock that is made very well, is comfortable, washes and wears well-durable, nice materials, seams that do not dig into your feet and hurt a lot in shoes, not too thick to wear with shoes, and not ridiculously high priced! Integrity! Obviously the company has done their homework and give their customers a well designed, thoughtful, reliable, honest product. wow.
These shoes are great! True to size, great support and very comfortable. These 990 V4 shoes have me wondering why I haven't bought a pair sooner! Give them a try, I think you'll like them. With Zappos great customer service and return policy, you can't go wrong! Thank you New Balance and Zappos!
