Munro American

I was so looking forward to these boots because I figured boots from Munro American would have a good chance of being very comfortable. Indeed, the boots were generally very comfortable. They provided good arch support. The leather was soft. They were immediately comfortable for wearing and walking. The overall quality felt good. Now here is why they are going back. Sometimes I will get swelling in my calves and ankles if I have been on my feet a lot during the day. The top of the boots would not accommodate that (too narrow). Also, the snaggy part of the hook and loop closure repeatedly caught on my stocking while I was putting the boot on, resulting in a new pair of stockings being ruined. They just were not quite what I needed.

A beautiful shoe, it fits well except through the toe area and it's just too narrow.

I purchased these for my wife and she loves them. She uses them when she needs to be on her feet for extended periods of time and says that they are one of the most comfortable shoes that she has ever worn.

My favorite shoes! They feel wonderful, last a long time and can, literally, be worn just about anywhere. Have been wearing them since they were invented, I think. Have had to give up high heels and wear flats so, for dress, with dressy pantsuit or pants outfit, I wear the fabric and patent version in black. Compliments galore and my podiatrist is happy. too, I can take out the Munro insole and slip in my special arch supports easily. Have worn them from the movie to the symphony!

Too narrow for a wide width shoe. A little too expensive for a fabric upper so am returning it.

Comfortable footbed but runs short. Elastic so snug that I walk right out of it. Like the style enough that I'm going to try it wider.

I am a Munro shoes aficionado. When I found this shoe again, I immediately ordered it in black! This makes my 3rd pair if Traci and now 2 black and 1 stone. This is my go-to shoe for work and leisure, and I didn't want to ever be without! Love them!

These are great shoes. I was worried they might look a little frumpy but they turned out to be very stylish with great support. They have that Greek look with comfort. Way to go Munro! And of course Zappos rocks!

The fit is very true. Color is nice, I got the gun metal. Did not like the elastic piece on the top where it looks like a cut-out.

It's the best footwear for home, it provides good ergonomics and it also has a great style of a fascinating color. Overall it is quite good in price and comfort a very nicely made product for women. Great thumbs up!

These shoes arrived quickly - as is the Zappos trademark. They look great, and walking in them is comfortable. I have narrow feet, so I ordered a narrow width. The elastic in the upper part of the shoe and the material across the toes are tighter than I would like. If I ordered again, I would not order the narrow width.

These shoes were comfortable from the moment I put them on. They run a little narrow which is why I love them as I have a narrow foot.Made in America is important to me and these shoes are made here.

Love these shoes! Great with jeans or pants, very comfortable. I have them in black also. My go to shoes for Texas fall and winter! I have a very narrow foot, 11 SS, and buy Munro shoes almost exclusively.

I needed navy shoes to fit my slightly arthritic, partially "bunioned" feet for a gala, and having unwisely avoided this arduous task for weeks, I suddenly found I had only three days left to find them. I pored over the Zappos and Endless selections, chose six pair, and waited. This shoe was the only one that didn't hurt instantly. I would have preferred something a touch dressier, but it had the right color, the right lines, and, thank heaven, the right fit. Just sublime comfort. My feet didn't hurt even slightly all night, and the very stable non-skid soles made me feel really secure. I didn't need to hold my husband's arm or walk gingerly around the smooth, slippery dance floor. I was extremely impressed. Keep it up, Munro, I'll be back for sure! One thought: Could you do anything with patent leather, jewel, or lace details somewhere on the shoe? For a dressy event it would be a nice option. I just tried a vintage rhinestone pin close to the top edge and it looked great. The shoe has an elegant, 1930's, almost retro look and the pin was perfect. Maybe I'll find two the same and have them stitched on. Thanks very much to Munro American and to Zappos!

Cute shoe but the narrow is much too narrow and the stretch fabric is very tight, so I have to send back.

Unbelievably tight shoe. The length was true to size, but the width was very narrow and the fabric did not stretch even after wearing twice. Cute, but not worth the pain!

This runs small. I ordered a 9N and it was short and too narrow. If interested I would have ordered a 9 1/2 N.

This is a very cute shoe but just didn't fit my foot right. It was too tight in the toes, too loose across the instep.

Purchased to wear in Paris, lots of walking on cobblestone and other uneven streets. Not a true C width but felt fine after I took the pads out. When I returned noticed the leather at the toes wore badly - scrapped and ragged looking. Clarks that I wore just as much held up fine. Would expect a better quality of leather for this price.

I like these shoes in black so much I bought the tan color also. They are very comfortable shoes that look great, too.
