MOZO

These were great, comfortable shoes, for about a week. And then I too had the issue of paint peeling off. The black on the sides (the tongue is different) is just painted over the white molded part you see at the bottom. Everywhere the shoes were stressed or flexed the black paint would crack and start to peel away. The fit and feel were both great, and I love the insoles and how customizable these shoes are right out of the box. They have been great on my feet in the kitchen. This little cosmetic problem is something the manufacturer needs to get fixed, though. Returning my current pair in exchange for a new one hoping not to have the same problem again.

I wore these shoes for the first time today and they were even better than I expected! Very comfortable after working in the kitchen for 12 hours. My feet did not feel overly hot or uncomfortable at all. They are incredibly light and a pleasure to wear. The slip-resistant soles felt very stable when walking on wet kitchen floors and they wipe clean with just a damp cloth. I look forward to wearing them again tomorrow. I had no problems with the inserts slipping and hopefully it won't become an issue. Overall I'm very satisfied with the shoes and I hope they prove to be a durable kitchen shoe.

I work in the restaurant industry and on my feet for at least 8 hours daily. As recommended I wore Mozo's around the house before trying them at work. After 3 attempts I realized these would not work. They were very stiff and the sole of the shoe didn't seem to bend when you walk. Very uncomfortable. I wish these would have worked for me. I am having a difficult time trying to find a shoe that works.

Incredibly comfortable. Nice aesthetics as well. Shims for size adjustment seem to slide and migrate out from under the gel insert and it didn't take long for the outer coating to crack and peel. I'm opening a new spot right now and pulling 16-18 hour days and my feet still aren't sore when I leave. I will definitely get another pair in the future.

First off thanks to Zappos! They are a great customer orientated company. I got these shoes after the Arron Sanchez shoes did not work out and I was dissatisfied with the shoes. First off the left shoe felt bigger than the right shoe, then after a busy shift on the line, I went to wipe the shoes down and they start flaking black paint from the sides of the shoes. I do not believe that line cooks were considered while designing the shoes. They are definitely a great concept, I just wish more thought was put into the design.

These are good shoes, but they have too many problems, the first pair I got had a defect. Then I exchanged them for a replacement pair those lasted a week before the side busted. But thanks to Zappos I was able to exchange them with absolutely no problems. But they were very comfortable I just wish they were durable enough to survive the line, which I do not think they were meant to do.

Love the shoes, very comfortable and stylish. Have to return, because there is too much white on the shoe. Please consider making a style that is all black!

I've been wearing these for 2 months. Comfortable right away. Slip resistant but not as good as SFC. A bit pricey for work shoes, I'm going back to SFC.

I have a narrow heel and these slipped too much. But the toe box was perfect for my medium to wide flat feet. I had to return them only because of the heel slipping.

Well, I bought this shoe for work, I am a bartender and server. First off I will say they are very comfortable and look nice. I unfortunately have to throw buckets of water to clean my bar floors and the holes on the sides for breathing comfort are not a good idea with lots of water.

Update from previous review (presumably directly above this one). I did contact Mozos about the issues I've had with the shoes and they've been extremely interested in hearing my story, evaluating my work environment, and utilizing my feedback to make their product better. I was even asked for photographs. I'm not going to say that I'd buy their products again but I'm certainly impressed with their interest and willingness to investigate issues in workmanship. That sort of approach has certainly earned my respect.

I found these to be just a bit too narrow. I tried it with and without the additional insoles, and was concerned that after 8+ hours on my feet, that they would just be too snug. I am sad to report, that I am returning them.

I love my Zappos, They are non skid and comfortable. I have had a lot of good remarks about the shoes. George

I work 13 hour days as a server, so I'm on my feet all day. I was really looking for something to provide comfort, first of all, and safety secondarily. Kudos on the safety. Did not find the shoes to be comfortable for me, at all. Too heavy, fit not ideal, and frankly, based on the pictures, I was disappointed with the look. Much more casual than I would have bought. Wanted to love them, especially at the cost, but they fell short. I don't wear them anymore, but didn't return them. Just not my nature.

Second pair. First pair had a botched seam and were returned after the first day. Zappos being who they are treated me exceptionally and sent me out a replacement the very next day. No issue with Zappos whatsoever. However, the second pair is barely two months old and has started coming apart between the outer gum sole and middle part of the last. I work 75 hour weeks in a pro kitchen (presumably who they market these shoes to) and couldn't possibly be more disappointed in the quality of them. Could I have a lemon? Maybe. But two of 'em is a bigger problem in my opinion. They look great (for a little while -- until the black begins flaking) and are wicked comfortable. Unfortunately, that's where the positives stop...buy something else if you intend to actually work in them.

These shoes are comfortable like they say. The shims make for a better fit because they don't have half sizes. I gave the style only 4 stars because I work in fine dining and these shoes are barely passable as a dress shoe. However, the air vents on the side are pretty cool looking and very practical so bonus points there.

Great shoes for the kitchen, much support and style, I will be getting another pair.

Don't believe the hype. I was expecting something much more comfortable than this. Albeit a good kitchen shoe, mine still required a expensive pair of insoles. Should've went with comfort over style. The Wine Bar in SanDestin, FL.

Great, comfortable shoe. I am on my feet 9-10 hours a day. My only complaint is that they only come in black. I wish there was a brown color as well.

These are REALLY comfortable. For me there were 2 problems: 1) too short of a strap, 2) no arch support. Unfortunately I had to send them back. The toe box has enough room for the toes.
