Joyce Chen Reviews
This steamer is perfect. It allows me to steam multiple items or just one item. It cleans up quickly and makes your vegetables perfect. I've only used it to reheat meats and it makes them actually much more juicy. Perfect, I love it.

I purchase this to make some Japanese sweets and I have not tried it yet but I did steam vegetable and it's a lot faster then my small size I have. It's beautiful and does not rock like some of the buyers state. It's a very nice steamer.
My pan rusted after the first time I used it! I didn't use a scrub brush to clean it or a metal spatula. :( Have to throw it out!

It cooks well but after washing and leaving it in the drying rack to dry, it rusts quickly. This happened after the first use and I didn't use a scrubber at all, only a regular sponge.
This is a rip off. It is not very sharp. Do you expect me to go hunting with this? It is super heavy and starts to rust within a few days. Terrible quality and not even a good handle.

I have used this steamer 5-6 times so far. It does a good job of steaming vegetables and fish. The handles get warm but not too hot. It has enough space to cook for two people easily. I generally put broccoli and carrots on one level and fish on the other. I keep the vegetable on top so fish juice does not drip on them. Overall, I am satisfied but don't expect a solid piece of cookware. The metal is thin, and it will slowly get discolored. I suspect the profit margin is really high... it is a typically mediocre Chinese product. However, it does the job, and as long as the handles hold up and there is no rust, I'll be satisfied with it.
This is a great product. I have found if you start with hot water and set the microwave on high for five minutes then cook it an additional 15 minutes on power level 6 it won't boil over. It makes about two quarts of perfect rice every time. John

This is my third Joyce Chen Rice steamer I have gotten in the past 10 years. This one is BPA free (I called the company). This one has a different design than the others two. The other two had various inserts so you could steam veggies or pop popcorn. This one doesn't have those - it's just a rice steamer. However, this one is made way better and cooks great rice, which is what I want it for. It cooks about 1.5 cups in the microwave in about 14 minutes and it turns out great every time. I love it.
These scissors are amazing. And for the price? Can't beat 'em! Perfect to cut open those painful spiny crab legs, and I even quartered a chicken super fast with them. If they could come in more colors, that would be awesome! Get them because they'll make your cooking life easier.
Looks great and versatile to use, but very hard to keep spotless. Unless you dry them right away, water spots stick to the surface - and even after washing them several times, they look like they haven't been washed at all.
I've had one of these for years. I bought a second for my daughter for Christmas. There is no better way to cook perfect rice !
I really love it. It is so versatile. You can steam and boil so many things at one time. You can cook an entire meal and still only have one pan to wash. I really can't say anything bad about it. I would definitely buy another one!
Not very sharp, but still a good knife at the price.
I love this steamer and I love Zappos, which sent it right away and I received it within 2 days without paying anything extra. The construction of the steamer is solid and it works perfectly. Highly recommend it and that you buy from Zappos. (No, no one paid me to say this and I have no vested interest in the company!)

This is an excellent, in fact, terrific product. I have one at each of our three properties. It is great for cutting crab. I have used it with both Alaskan King and Dungeness crab. It avoids all the pounding and cracking. You simply cut the crab leg or body part up both sides and the meat falls out. I like to heat it for a minute or two (depending on frozen state) in the microwave. I add a small portion of liquid-"I Can’t believe it's Not Butter" in a custard dish or small ramekin with added minced garlic for the second minute. This works just as well for Dungeness crab as it does for King crab even though Dungeness is usually eaten cold. This is incredibly tasty. The scissors are a wonderful assist in easily releasing the succulent crab meat which is then dipped into the warm liquid "butter" and garlic mixture.

This product is awesome! It's a very nice quality and can hold a *substantial* amount of food. It's light, easy to clean, and gets the job done. Well worth the price. I LOVE it!
