Calzaturificio Gravati, Mario Sp.A., located in Vigevano, Italy, is a family-owned company which was established in 1909. Gravati produces high-quality shoes characterized by a classical and refined style.
Gravati shoes are hand-crafted entirely within the factory by skilled artisans and technicians. Every pattern of every Gravati shoe is hand-cut; there is no "cookie cutter" assembly line aspect in making a Gravati shoe. The upper part of every model is hand-mounted on the last where it remains for a minimum of 10 days to 2 weeks to ensure a proper fit, for which Gravati shoes are best known.
Gravati meticulously selects and inspects all the skins, thus maintaining the utmost assurance of the best quality that money can buy. Finally, every individual manufactured Gravati shoe is carefully inspected, assuring us of maximum quality control.

Beautiful shoe, but not comfortable. Very wide at heel, hard sole. Disappointing overall, especially for a very pricey shoe.
Beautiful, well-made shoe. I order it in my usual size 8; unfortunately, the toe box was way too small. I don't think a larger size would help. Too bad I have to return it.
This is an unbelievable shoe. I have a wide foot and it may be the most comfortable shoe I own. They have a great appearance. Couldn't be more pleased.
