Got these for a trip to the UK. Only had a couple weeks to break them in, but they have been great. Lightweight, good cushion, enough support for the cobblestone streets, and they look great with jeans.

Very nice shoe but the insole did not give me the proper support. I think the insole gives good support, just not for my finicky low arches. The toe box isn't quite as roomy as Keens but still enough room.

I love GoLites. This is my second pair although this style is different than my first. These are good for light hiking and walking. I don't think the shoe will hold up for as many miles on the rocky trails in Sedona. They are very comfortable though and fit my narrow foot perfectly. I followed advice of other reviewers and bought a half size larger.

I absolutely love these shoes and am so glad I bought them! They are super cool and very attractive. I am probably the only person in Shawano County, Wisconsin, who has these! Definitely a good buy!

I've been wanting a pair of barefoot style shoes for a while - that is, a pair with no rise in the heel at all. These are both super comfy and super cute. They're not waterproof, so I wouldn't wear them for hiking, but for long walks in the city they're perfect. They do run about a half or a full size small, so order accordingly.

I bought these shoes for my trip to Peru. I wanted something walk/hike-able without looking touristy - like sneaks. They are super cute and when I first put them on I thought they were amazingly comfortable. But I'm sorry to say after a few hours on the feet they cut into my Achilles and are pretty painful. Crud, I don't have time to buy a different pair. Also I find that the way the toebox curves in on the big toe side that after a while my big toe joint feels fatigued. Like the shoes are pushing my toes in when they should be going straight. Otherwise they look great, have awesome cushioning, inside and on the sole. Nice grippy sole, and very cute. Unfortunately the comfort factor is not all the way there.

As far as practical shoes, go this shoe is very pretty. I returned them because they were so stiff, and there wasn't time to break them in before I needed to wear them all day.

Got these originally for me -- not realizing I'd stumbled upon man's shoes. Sent em back and got them for my hubby, who'd admired my Golites (another style) he loves them, and he's very opinionated and doesn't lie. They took him all over DC for four days, with rave reviews.

I love these shoes! The fit (the adjustable width really works, at least for narrow), the style (love the color and have received lots of compliments) and the comfort. As mentioned in other reviews I did experience minor rubbing on the heel as part of the breaking in, but went away after several walks. A cross between a tennie and a hiking boot. I'm sure I will wear these all summer!

I love these shoes for hiking and walking. This is the second pair I have bought and am not disappointed. Tried wearing them for cardio in the gym but they do not provide enough stability for side-to-side maneuvers.

They are light and comfortable esp. when I am biking. They are fine for fitness walking now but the first time I got a blister on the heel of my left foot...maybe the socks? Or I didn't tie tight enough? This has happened to me before with a new pair of sneaks...not sure what that is all about. Oh, one thin, they make my big foot look smaller unlike clunky walking shoes!

I had the same problem with rubbing on my achilles tendon. I wore a bandaid for a few days, and now I love these shoes. I have extremely wide feet, and these work with the wide footbeds. Love the styling, too.

Beware and runs 1/2 size small. Also, the shoe may have zero drop but the insole does add height to the heel, especially with the wide insole.

These are great shoes and I really like the idea of the conversion for wide or narrow feet. I purchased them for a 3 week trip in Europe, but have not been yet.

Love the style of these shoes, but they are a comfort disappointment. I've tried different combinations of socks, inserts - no inserts, but they still rub too much in the heel to be wearable.

I was searching for the perfect, comfortable, cool-looking sneaker-type shoes on the Zappos website, and the GoLite line kept catching my eye. What convinced me to try these shoes was a review by a woman who needed good shoes for dog agility, which I also do, and I am so glad that I bought these shoes. I absolutely love them! I have told all my dog-agility friends about these sneakers. I take a size 8 and that fit perfectly. I want a whole wardrobe full of these shoes! They are so light, and so comfortable. They are highly recommend!

Love these shoes. Have 2 pairs and wear them all the time. Have had 2 foot surgeries in the past year so my feet are very sensitive. I can wear these all day and my legs don't get tired. Like wearing them more than athletic shoes. The size was perfect. I did add my own insoles with more of an arch support.

Great shoe, light, I struggle between wide and medium sizes and this is just wide enough - ran a half size large for me, but after a long search I found a good light hiker, that I wear daily.

This is one of the best shoes I have ever owned. I am a bit of a shoe fanatic. Particular. The GoLite Lava exceeded my expectations. It felt great on my foot from the minute I put it on. Natural. Above and beyond, it is as stylish as the day is long. I can assure you...I am now the envy of all my friends. Great shoe. Seriously.
