Gentle Souls

The softest shoe I've ever had, but does have arch support. Top leather feels like butter! Beautiful shoe.

This is a super cute shoe. The contrast in color between the strap and shoe is much less on the actual shoe than shown in the photo, and I'm a little disappointed, but I still like the shoe and I'm keeping it.

This shoe is a perfect blend of style and comfort. I bought a pair to wear for several spring/summer weddings that required lots of standing, and thus far they have been comfortable enough to survive long reception lines and many steps. I received several compliments on the style (the best was from a college student -- I am 49!), as well as requests on where to purchase a pair. The heel, while high, is easy to walk in (previous Achilles tendon surgery) because of the platform.

These are beautifully made shoes that can't be appreciated by picture. They are soft and comfortable with a well padded insole of soft leather. Can wear with skirts, jeans, just about everything. A great go-to flat.

I've owned this shoe for around a year and love it. Very padded and a great look on the foot. Always get compliments. Bronze is great color. It does run a bit long. I liked so much I ordered a spare pair this year on sale. Sadly, this pair was stretched out and I had to send them back because my foot just slide forward.

Once you have buckled the strap, the last part of the strap is too wide to fit into that metal loop that keeps the end of the strap from dangling out. I tried with the shoe both on and off my foot, and I could not pull it through. Otherwise, I really liked it. This shoe is a great combination of comfortable materials (super-soft leather and comfortable padded footbed), plus a 70's-esque style that is unique and hip. So it is frustrating to have to send them back.

Beautiful shoe - butter-soft leather. Good fit, but I could not even stand in it comfortably. It had a pressure point under the front of my heel about where the cut-out starts. Sad to return because I loved the muted color, the style and quality of the shoe.

I have wide feet, should have ordered 6 1/2 instead of 7 but am keeping them anyway, because I have worn them, but they are spectacular. The back strap has not moved and they are like walking barefoot! May break down and order a smaller size, so I will have 2 pairs. Love them!

I could not make up my mind on color so I ordered both. The orange shoe has a smoother leather, so I'm keeping. The beige, although great too, has more of a hirachi look to the leather. I wear a 7.5 and they are a tad big, but know that the 7 would be snug. Very cute, comfortable shoe.

I saw this style for quite some time, finally made the purchase, and I love these -- so comfortable ! Wow...plus Zappos customer service is such a pleasure to deal with. They make shopping easy!

Wonderful comfort in excellent quality materials. Ran a full size large for my wide foot, which caused my heel to pull out of the shoe when taking a step. Perhaps a size smaller would remedy this.

Beautiful, well made shoe, lovely on and so comfortable. My orthotics can't hide in this one... runs a bit large all over. Usually wear a 40 but would need a 39 in this maker.

I was a bit hesitant because of the price but went ahead and ordered these in gold. Not one regret and these are incredible! I get a compliment every time I wear them. Seriously, every time! They are out-of-the-box comfortable and did not require any breaking-in time. The first time out I wore them with a dress to a wedding and they looked so cool! They go super well with slacks and jeans too. The footbed is nicely padded and they are easy to fasten with the velco tab. I am not used to wearing platforms and was wondering how stable they would feel but no worries. The sole is rubber that feels very stable on all surfaces. They do feel ever so slightly loose in the heel when I put them on but my foot does not slip around when I am walking so it is not an issue. This is a well-made, lovely, comfortable sandal that will get tons of wear.

I followed the advice in prior reviews for this sandal and ordered 1/2 size smaller than I would normally wear. These were still too wide and slightly too long. I returned that pair for a pair 1 whole size smaller than normal. They fit perfectly. I do have a somewhat narrow foot. These sandals do NOT run true to size.

This is a good looking and very comfortable shoe that would be perfect for a full day walking if only there were a decent arch support. But for a few hours, they are great.

I can never find shoes that fit me.I have long skinny feet with the 2nd toe longer then the rest. I am overweight so all shoe are uncomfortable. But then I found Gentle Souls and I am in love. They are comfortable, soft, nice looking. I can actually wear them all day and my feet don't hurt. I have bought three pair already. They are so expensive for my budget or I would have more in every color. Try them they are great.

Love this shoe. It's very comfortable and I can wear it all day. The toe strap is a bit tight on my left shoe. I have shoe stretchers and that helped some but it is still a bit tight. I think it will loosen up and because it's just one I think just a quality control problem. If not for that they would get a 5 star and hopefully it was just a fluke.

This is the second pair of shoes I'be bought from Gentle Souls and I love both. My first was a pair of boots and they are very comfortable and good looking at the same time. The shoes I recently bought are made of a really soft leather with beautiful details for such a simple design. The leather is so soft that it almost looks like a ballet slipper when it is on your feet. The choice of color makes it a great neutral. I have wide feet and this shoe works very well for me.

At my age, 73, I want comfort with my style. These shoes give me both. Mt third pair of Gentle Souls and I expect to buy more

I love the heel height and they fit my semi-wide foot with a high arch very well. Definitely order at least a 1/2 size down. Even at 1/2 size down they are a smidge long, but it doesn't bother me. I find them very comfortable and the light tan color goes well with so many things. I've had no blisters or discomfort, right out of the box. Gentle Souls shoes are always a winner for me.
