French Connection

I got this dress in Tuscan summer color which is a bronzy orange. I am 5½" tall, size small, bought a size 2 because size 0 was unavailable, I am shocked at how tight this dress is, a size 2 in any other dress is almost always too big on me, but this dress was hard to put on. I definitely recommend to size up. Other than that, I like the dress, it is not wow especially for the price, but it is cute.

This is a great shirt -- runs big, but it is a slouchy style. Needs a tank or camisole underneath if you do not want to show bra from arm holes.

This dress fits true to size. I love it. Very sexy and not too short...great quality...I was going to purchase it when I saw it in a store, but I am glad I found it here at a deep discount.

First, major kudos to Zappos for having this dress at my doorstep literally less than 24 hours after I ordered it. The internet is magic! Back to business: I adore this dress. You will have to pry it from my cold, dead fingers. I have tried other bandage knits before that are excessively stiff and constricting, but this one is not! It's form-fitting in just the right ways without sacrificing comfort. I actually did not order up a size. I usually wear a size 0 (non-vanity sized) and a 0 in this dress is perfect. For reference, I have a 32D bust, 24" waist, 34.5" hips. Fortunately, unlike many bodycon dresses, this does not smash or flatten my curves but shows them off tastefully. The band at the waist is very flattering, although it's not very stretchy, so if you have a thicker natural waist you should definitely size up. I can't speak for all figures, but I would strongly recommend this to smaller body types like myself. Lastly, if you are concerned about the wide neck revealing bra straps, don't fret! I was relieved to find that it is bra-friendly. Take-home message: if you are thinking about getting this dress, I absolutely recommend that you go for it.

This is a great dress. I'm 5'5'' and wear a 2, it is ideal for someone not very curvy. Great for spring and summer evenings.

This is so cute. But I am a size 6/8 and the 8 was way too small. The 8 was more like a 4. It is so flattering though and the material was thick enough to hide any bumps. Has to go back.

They are not kidding about ordering a size larger than you wear! This is a gorgeous dress and the fabric is even nicer than I had hoped for. The captain blue color is very pretty. Overall a classy dress that I can't wait to wear out.

I normally wear a size 2-4 (26/27 in jeans) and a size 6 in French Connection, as it runs small. This dress in a 6 way too small and extremely tight. I am not a fan on the shoulder pads and stitching around the shoulder pads making them extremely obvious. Otherwise it would have been a great dress.

I'm tall and thin, 5'11 and the fit of this dress doesn't work with a tall girl! It was the type of garment you had to keep adjusting or pulling down. Would not recommend.

Love this dress! Went with the blue/gray color. Really accentuated my waistline and smoothed me out. Very comfortable. The fabric has a slight sheen to it so it looks dressier. Wore with a bold metallic necklace. Usually a size 2 or a 4 but ended up with a 6. 5'7'' 125 lbs.

Very cute dress. The dress is fitted on top so it's best to go with one size up than your normal size (pursuant to the sizing recommendations). I'm normally a 0 and purchased the 2 and it fits perfect. I could have squeezed into the 0 but much preferred comfort! Overall, looks very cute on. The fit and flare look is perfect for the summer.

I love this dress! got lots of compliments on it the first time I wore it. I felt like it was riding up when when I wore it making it quite short. but when I asked people they said it didn't look like it was riding up.

Looked better on the model than on me, unfortunately! The color wasn't as complimentary on me, and the fit was very tight. When it says to order a size up they weren't kidding. Definitely order a size up and if you are in between sizes or uncomfortable with really tight dresses order two sizes up. I ended up sending this one back as I didn't love it enough for the price.

Zappos does it again! I could have ordered this dress from a different site, for a little less, but I would gladly pay a little extra in order to shop with Zappos! The shipping was immediate, they even sent it on a Sunday!? And their return policy is top notch. That being said. this dress is amazing! I tried it on in Bloomingdales in the glitter version. (bronze) however the lurex used in that fabric makes it feel like burlap. This dress is smooth and shiny, and hugs in all the right places. It is short and low cut but the full coverage in back and at the shoulders makes it seem a bit more sophisticated and classy. With a push up bra you can have instant cleavage - even for a small B cup like me. I'm also very tall (5'11) so this dress does come up a bit short, but it looks stunning! Its a great cheaper alternative to sheling out hundreds for a herve leger dress, when this one essentially feels exactly the same on.

I love this dress! It is true that French Connection sizes are smaller than usual, so I ordered one size more, and it is right my size. The material fits to your body enhancing your curves. It is a good quality material. And it is just amazing that Zappos will ship it next day!

Very cute, slimming dress. This dress is very outside of my comfort zone, but I really like it. I had to get an 8, which is one size larger then my typical dress size (I'm 5'4", 130lbs and typically wear a 6, sometimes a 4 in dresses). The 6 was very tight and I didn't feel comfortable. The 8 wasn't much bigger at all, just enough to make me feel better wearing such a form fitting dress.

This dress is so slimming and flattering! I am between 8-10 and size 8 fit me perfect. I ordered both sizes but didn't notice any real difference between them.

Love this dress! Very comfortable, form fitting and sexy. I am between a size 2 and 4, I own other fcuk dresses and was debating which size. I'm glad I went with the 4, I think this dress runs smaller than other styles of their dresses. Can't wait to wear it for NYE.
