FitFlop Reviews
A co-worker recommended these shoes because of the pain in my feet due to arthritis. I can say that these shoes feel so wonderful! My feet would hurt terribly by the middle of the work day, now I can go all day with little or no pain! I also bought a pair in black.
I bought these sandals in black early last summer and I love how they feel but I was a bit surprised at how big the folded suede ruffles were! Maybe it s just my personality, but they were a bit too much for me. I even had a comment that they looked like bedroom slippers! So, I didn't wear them as often as I would have liked. Now, I've made them more suitable for me! I took off the ruffles! And I love them like I love all my other Fitflops! The ruffles were sewn in and can be removed carefully with a sewing ripper , one anchor thread at a time, taking care not to cut the suede of the upper fabric. I removed all the errant threads with my tweezers and viola! Beautiful black Fitflops!
Super comfy, and the first pair of thongs that I've ever worn without pain. I ordered the black all-leather first, but the red toe strap clashed with my toenail polish (and probably would clash with most polish colors). So I got these black canvas and leather sandals and also a pair of brown all leather (with black toe strap). I have bunions and plantar fasciitis, and ordered in my normal size...it's a roomy fit but I wouldn't go down a size. These are as comfortable as a thong gets.
I got these to replace another pair of Fitflops that I have been wearing for more than three years. These did not fit as well as my old Fitflops; there was too much room between the straps and my foot. My foot slipped to the front of the shoe. But the Fitflop Frou style fits perfectly.
Have owned two pairs of these Rokkits, bronze and silver for over a year. Took them with me to Australia for a 3 month stay during their summer and wound up wearing the practically everyday! Love them and always get lots of compliments. they dress up or down perfectly. Have low arches and they make it possible to walk without pain. The only thing I noticed is that fairly quickly the bronze pair started to lose crystals. Didn't ruin the look but for the price thought the quality should be better.
This is my second pair and I love them. They are great for walking. The unique style also makes them a conversation piece.
I have many other Fitflops but these seem to run larger than the rest of them. I exchanged them for a 7 and they fit perfect.
I got the Fit Flop b/c I have Plantar Fasciitis and needed a supportive, casual sandal. I like them for a few hours but I wore them to the Kentucky Derby for 13 hours. My feet are very damaged, again. I thought I had them broken in, and I tried a pair on in a store to verify size and feel, but I shouldn't have pushed it that far. Crap!
All of the reviews say this one runs large, so I bought a size down. However, I found that not to be the case. The tag that comes with the shoe says "To ensure a proper fit, take 20-30 brisk steps in them, then look down to make sure your heels are not pushed off the back of the footbed. If they are, and the upper straps are too tight you need to go another size up." Sure enough, my heel was pushed off the back of the footbed. They also had the general problem I have with flip flops that I feel like my front toes are crunching to hold the shoe on. Sigh, other than that they were great. Comfortable sole, gorgeous style.
It looks gorgeous, the footbed feels good, but the stud is incredibly uncomfortable. I don't even know why. Other FitFlop styles don't have this problem. But as soon as it gets between my toes I have to have it off, it feels like it's cutting me or something. Maybe it would break in but I don't have time to break in shoes, especially shoes that are supposed to be uber comfortable.
Very comfortable shoes. Usually wear an 8 or 8.5, ordered a 7 in these and they fit great. I wanted a pair of shoes other than Crocs to wear on vacations where I knew I would be walking a lot. After years of wearing Crocs and having sore feet after a day of walking, I decided to get these. They are good shoes and seem to be durable.
I have flat feet and struggle with joint pain all over from rheumatoid arthritis. These shoes seem to provide a lot of shock absorption to my joints, when I walk. I love them!
I'm usually an 8 but the 8 seemed a little big so I ordered the 7. The straps on the 7 felt a little tight, so I stayed with the 8. I really liked the way they look. They are like Birkenstocks, but not as bulky.
Fabulous flip flop especially for anyone who needs support and soft soles for tender feet. I am a fan for sure. Only one problem...there needs to be half sizes available. I would get a much better fit if I could get my size in a half size. 6 is borderline to small and 7 is borderline to big...I would purchase more if I could get half sizing. I have seen others express the same concern about half sizing on other websites so I know I am not the only one with this complaint.
I was really looking forward to these shoes since they were recommended to me by my podiatrist to help with plantar fasciitis. Unfortunately the strap comes up really far and I can't even get my foot under it, I guess the top of my foot is high. I even went up 1/2 a size. I am returning them because of that, I never got to feel the cushy support everyone raves so much about. :-(
Love this shoe! I purchased the Fitflop when they first came out and how they have improved in appearance but still maintain the same comfortable walk.
So mad...I bought these locally one day when I had a pair of platforms on and we decided to do the walking thing (note to self: Don't wear platforms without a back up pair on hand). Anyway, I paid full price for them; a little rip off boutique place. So what happened? Well, I have always always thrown my fit flops in the washer and they wash like a dream, so I decided to do the same with these and guess what...a flower fell off. And, to add further insult to injury, it's not MIA. So I have a bum pair of fit flops that I paid too much for. Boo hiss.
I think this shoes is the best shoe that I have had before. It's look cool and easily to dress up with other stuffs. And the best thing of this shoe, it's very comfortable.

Way narrower than the slip-on clog style FitFlops I purchased a few years ago. Too narrow for me.
