Eastland Reviews
Full size larger than the 8.5 I ordered, can fit a thumb behind my heel. Too large to judge overall support, but the lack of arch would be a problem even if it fit. Nice caramel color and seems well made, if a bit boring.
Beautiful, soft leather. Dressy enough to wear with a skirt. They do run small. I ordered the shoe in a half-size larger than what I usually wear. Also, they are narrower than other shoes I have worn.
Great looking shoe. No arch support and not very sturdy on sides. Priced too high for what you get.
Very nice shoes, I've been looking for them for a long time. Good for working around machinery if you don't need steel toes.
I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes/boots that I can wear all day. I love these shoes! I tried two different Sperry boat shoes locally and had to return them. They were so uncomfortable I almost cried. Then I remembered I had always worn Eastland in my 'teen years' so thought I would give them a try again. They are made very well and durable, the look is great and most important for me is the comfort. I can wear them all day! I needed a good shoe for working in the barn and with horses instead of wearing boots all the time. These fit the bill perfectly.
These shoes are cute and comfortable. They do feel narrow to me but loosening the laces and wearing a few times made them perfect. They're cute with jeans and comfortable for walking my dog. With the red plaid, they are definitely for casual use.
I love these sandals. I wear an 8.5 typically, and the 9 was perfect. They were comfortable right out of the box. I wore them the majority of the time I was on vacation and never had a problem. I bought these to replace a pair of worn "Borns" -- the quality is just as good.
I love these shoes and own several Eastland sandals including Peepers, Strap Happy, and Pet Weave. With my difficult feet, it's hard to find comfortable shoes but these feel great and are stylish as well. I like the wedge sole which gives me some height but also evenly distributes my weight therefore taking the pressure off the balls of my feet. If I had to find a criticism, I would say that Eastland should make these shoes in more colors!
I was originally shopping for another pair of boat shoes when I saw these instead. They are kind of masculine for me and I'm a casual dresser, but they are growing on me. I was surprised that this shoe offers zero arch support. I've never bought Eastland before so I don't know if that's typical. I purchased my usual size 7.5 and wear thinner socks to allow for more wiggle room and for orthotics for arch support. It's classic East Coast/Midwest style. If you find these on sale, I'd say it's worth a gander.
I have had these shoes for a year now and I have a lot of shoes but these are by far my most favorite ones and most comfortable. Absolutely love them. I never right reviews unless I am mad about something, but this time I had to right something because the shoes are too awesome.
Good looking, very comfortable. However, they really don't have much support, and I have developed a hot heel so I cannot wear them at the moment. Despite that, I would order them because I like the looks and the feel of them.
I chose these for the classic casual style that goes well with what I wear to work, and these are what I expected. My orthotics fit well inside these shoes including the toe box, but it was a big pain removing the mfr's padding, glued-in much too well, to make room for the orthotics. I was skeptical about other reviewers' claims that this shoe ran large (I often have problems with shoes running too small for me, but not too large), but they were right--order 1/2 size smaller than usual. Comfortable right out of the box, once I got the correct size.
Very comfortable and good arch support. I was looking for a sandal to wear around the house, these fit the bill.
Really, really nice looking shoe. Not too clunky and can be dressed up or down. I have not worn them yet, so I cannot vouch for their comfort level, but they fit nicely. I love them!
A notch below business casual, not something I'd wear to a corporate setting. Too "tuff" looking. Runs large, not comfy.
I've always liked this sandal style and when I found them I was very happy. I tried really hard to break these in but they just hurt way too much. I should have returned them while they were still new. They are a bit heavy, very stiff and the leather is so hard I ended up with band-aids all over my feet. What a horror of a sandal!
