Over twenty years ago husband and wife, Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup, were traveling in Europe and discovered the clog in a small shop. They quickly realized that this simple shoe had the potential to change their lives and the lives of anyone who might wear them, so they bought some pairs and brought them back to America. They shared those pairs with their friends who in turn, told their friends and on it went. Through this word of mouth, Dansko® was born. Today, the legendary comfort line is an employee-owned company based in Pennsylvania that offers a wide assortment of shoes from boots to sandals, and a plethora of clogs. Each pair of Dansko shoes delivers all-day comfort and support and benefits the feet of anyone who wears them.
Discover what nurses, doctors, cooks, waitresses, and teachers already know—Dansko Professional clogs are the ideal shoes to wear if you’re on your feet all day. Well, it’s in the “Comfort DNA” that includes superior materials of leather or fabric, precise mold and fit, careful measuring and contouring, and a battery of tests to come to the final product.

Great investment! I have previously purchased Dansko many years ago. This recent purchase has reminded me of the superior quality of Dansko footwear. I work at a hospital and stand/walk for most of my work day suffering from lower back pain was becoming my new normal. But after purchasing these Dansko shoes I have not experienced any back pain. These shoes are worth the investment.
I was looking to replace the typical tennis shoe with the purpose of casual wear or for walking. This is a cute, light weight shoe. It was comfortable, but it somehow felt more like wearing a dress shoe. I wear 9 1/2 and ordered the 40, and it fit well.
Adorable and comfortable. Dansko never lets me down. Yes, the strap across the foot is a tad bit short -- I can still work it but if you've got a high arch, you might have a problem. A strange place to be stingy on material. Otherwise, fab.
These are very nice looking and very comfortable. After about three months, they squeak unbearably with every step. Unwearable unless you work in a very noisy place.
These shoes are so incredibly comfortable! I wore them to work almost daily. My job required being on my feet all day. I've had shoes that promised all day comfort but did not live up to their hype!
I like the shoe. However, no matter what sock I tried, my feet instantly started to sweat big time! I figured that was not a good sign for hiking/walking.
I really like the look of this shoe and was hoping it fitted just like the Helen Style. However, it seemed it seemed wider and a bit larger so it slipped on my heel. I was disappointed!
LOVE them! These are so comfortable and very cute, yet still professional. Great to pair with dresses, pants or capris. Question: on the box there is a sticker that says "scotch guard protected", does this mean they have been treated or shall I treat them to protect for weather elements?
I purchased a pair of these shoes approximately 1 year ago and they fit great. This time the left shoe fits great and the right shoe is too narrow. What happened to quality control????
The distressed stone color was a lot more gray in person than pictured. I love the fit and feel of the shoe. But had I known they were that gray, I probably wouldn't have purchased them.
