Dahlgren

Got these for my wife for Christmas. She is very cold-natured. She absolutely loves these. They are warm, comfortable and fit very well. They are of excellent quality. She has a narrow foot, and these hug the contour very well. Did I mention excellent quality?

This is a wonderful product. The socks keep my mom's feet warm all night. She loves them. We already bought 3 packages. They are a bit pricey but absolutely worth it. You get what you pay for.

Warm and snug fitting in the foot. I don't like anything tight around my legs, and the tops of the socks aren't too tight.

I bought these for my father who is 83. He loved them! They are warm but not too heavy and just the right length for him, not too long, not too short. I do not know how well they'll keep because it is hard for me to check that as they live abroad.

These argyle socks are fantastic! I got the brown/green ones and a pack of the blue. They both add a nice touch to my dressy casual wardrobe. They are comfortable and great in warm or cool weather. I highly recommend them and wish Dahlgren would come out with additional color variations (not into the black one given what I wear).

Just returned these socks. :-( I bought them after being very happy with the Dahlgren backpacking socks; however these have a bulky upside seam across the toes, unlike the other style. If your feet aren't as sensitive as mine you might be OK, the rest of the sock seemed very nice.

When I received these socks I was disappointed thinking they were too thick. Once I wore them on an Ireland vacation involving a lot of walking I was in love with them. The shoes I wore on the trip were comfortable for walking and not bulky so didn't have strong support. These socks made up for the heavy structure that a lot of walking shoes have making them less versatile and unattractive. I almost think I could have trekked around barefoot in these socks!

To date have worn them on short hikes (7-10 miles) in tropical environment and they are soft, supple and breath. In June I am using them on the Inca Trail, a more exhaustive test.

Even though I wear a size 6.5 shoe, I need socks that start with size 4 and that is hard to find. But these fit beautifully. Lots of cushion on the sole, very warm. I have some in black, too. Excellent buy.

Gave as a gift to my son, he loves the comfort, wash-ability. Great as a work sock, so far tough enough to be a house slipper.

I bought these socks for my husband who needed to travel to NY this fall. These socks kept his feet and legs warm even when he was outside in brisk, cold wind. He told me he loved that his feet were warm all day.

I've purchased Dahlgren socks in the past, and these did not disappoint. They are as soft as any sock I have every owned. The alpaca wool adds a wonderful feel with the merino wool. They feel great and do an excellent job at wicking away moisture. I use them for weekends and days when a slightly heavier sock is needed. These will be your feet's best friends!

I love my Dahlgren's. I have at least 10 pair. For Christmas, I buy them for my whole family. They are so comfortable. I use them for everyday wear as well as soccer, hiking, walking and biking. Well worth the money, they wash up well and last forever. I have to say that I love the new colors, too! I highly recommend them.

The light hikers are great for trail running, especially in less than perfect weather. They keep my feet safe from blisters, even when soaking wet from rain and snow. This is the brand I wear for extended runs and hikes. I also love the heavier backpacking socks. So does my husband. My feet are always cold and these socks are the first to keep my feet warm at home and when camping in wet, 35 degree weather.

These are great socks. I use them every day on my construction job sites. They hold up really well. I was introduced to them 2 years ago, and have made this the only sock I wear. Definitely worth buying.

I love these socks! I have many pairs, styles, and colors. They have been worn running a marathon, a few half marathons, two half Ironman triathlons, and many small sprint triathlons. They are durable, blister free, and feel fantastic. I also wear them around the house because they are so comfortable.They are worth the price as you will go through 2 or 3 other other brand names to one pair of Dahlgren. As of yet, 3 years after being introduced to them I do not have any holes, or repair issues on the socks, and I'm brutal to my feet. Well worth the purchase.

Love these new socks--super thin, soft, liked the close fit--no extra material in my shoe. Worked great for mountain biking yesterday. Ordering more!

I have purchased more than a few pairs of Dahlgren socks and have been delighted with the quality, fit, comfort and wear...however...these light trail socks are the most uncomforable, ill-fitting, itchy, tight, too long socks I have ever worn. Shame on Dahlgren for charging big money for this junk!

These are the best socks ever--and the new styling looks incredible! I'm a ranger and am on my feet all day--Dahlgren is the only brand I wear! No blisters--keeps my feet dry--feel as good at the end of the day as when I put them on. Just bought some in the new color.

I bought them again!These socks are slightly overpriced, but, some things in life are just worth paying the price. And, for an extra few dollars, what the heck. They are terrific from the second you pull them on, to the time (following fifteen or twenty washes), when they perform like you just took them out of the box.
