Citizen Watches

I bought my husband an eco-watch 2 yrs. ago & it is working fine. This one replaced another I bought from Zappos; the expansion band was too large though I measured my wrist and it seemed it would fit. The first watch was running and on time when it arrived. This one is not running and I cannot charge it yet; it needs sunlight or fluorescent light to charge the battery. I am hoping it will be OK because it is a beautiful watch and the band fits my wrist. The white band is plain, not Croc-embossed, but it is fine. The rose gold is only around the top crystal not the entire surrounding metal of the watch face; the mother of pearl is visible but not overly so. I am giving it only 3 stars because it is not running yet.

Great watch! Lightweight and all the features I wanted. I would give it 5 stars but the black coating scratches off easily! Would prefer a more durable finish.

I love this watch. It’s a classic military style watch, kind of big but not that big and of quality construction. I love the idea of not having to change the battery for a long, long time is very pleasing to me. Two things, though: the numbers don’t light up at night unless you "recharge" it in some source of light and even then it’s not that bright. And the other is the band; even though I like the color and the eyelets, it can be either too loose or too tight between eyelets. None of these really bother me since I like my watch to be a little loose but it can a hassle to others. Overall, I think it’s a great watch.

Great watch-very attractive. The gold is not quite as visible around the face as pictured but I still like it.

Really like the look of the face and the movement. On your wrist, the face is definitely more of an olive drab and lighter than what comes through on the photo, but it works. Super bright luminescence on the dial numbers & hands. Very quiet movement for quartz. Crystal is nice and clear. Lightweight, just the right size. The canvas strap is odd to get used to, and I sort of wish the eyelets on it weren't plain metal - they should be black too in my opinion. I consider it a good value for the money.

This watch is absolutely lovely in every way. The no battery concept was the main reason for selecting a Citizen. Thanks, Zappos for offering an awesome product and your wonderful next day delivery...instant gratification!

I have had this watch for close to 4 years now. I haven't ever had a problem with it. Everyone who sees it compliments it, and asks where I got it. Awesome watch, it's even more awesome I haven't ever needed to buy a battery for it!

I love this watch. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the window for the date is so tiny that the date is hard to read. The watch is very comfortable on my arm and keeps good time, as well as being beautiful!

Bought this as a holiday gift for my husband and he absolutely loves it. I wanted to find something classic and simple yet stylish and sophisticated...it's exactly that.

Great watch. Exactly what you expect from Citizen. The only problem is the band. The holes are so large that it makes it difficult to get a good fit on my wrist. I'm between the 3rd and 4th hole so it's either too tight or way too loose.

Love my Citizen Eco Drive, so I got my husband one. It is a great looking watch! Don't be misled by the description (Color: Leather Band/Navy). The band is Brown, face black with silver bezel. Buy it from Zappos, you will love it!

I love this watch, and I adore eco-drive. Zappos is magnificent, as always; their customer service is unparalleled. This watch may look a little showy online, but in real life, it's understated, goes with everything, and so comfortable you'll forget you have it on.

This is a very nice looking watch, fits and looks great.

It's a very big watch. That is the only downside. Great casual watch (i.e. you don't just have to wear it for diving). The illumination on the hands is exceptionally bright and the battery never needs to be changed. If you don't need more than the time, date, and can use a rotating bezel as a timer, this is a great watch. Another huge perk, there is no obnoxious tick noise out of this watch.

Watch arrived quickly after ordering. The watch was as expected from descriptions we read except date is too small to read. So far, we're happy with purchase.

I’ve had this watch for a few weeks now and love the simplicity that it shares with my other two Citizen Eco-Drive watches. While it’s not titanium, it’s feather light. My only wish is that the band was a little bit wider and sturdier, as it seems more like a woman’s watch with the lack of “beefiness.” :-) This is not a watch that you buy for 'bling' - it's a great every day, casual, kicking-around watch. All-in-all, this is a great value for the money!

This watch is great. I've had it for a year now and the strap is still good, it is very comfortable to wear 24 hours a day, and best of all it tells the right time. The watch is stylish and can be worn out hiking, in a casual setting, and with a suit. I've received numerous compliments on the watch. I do have one issue with the watch I ordered. The second hand on the watch has set itself back 2 seconds, so instead of resetting to the 12 after using the chronograph, it resets 2 seconds before the 12. This really takes away from the aesthetic appeal of a watch, would should display precision at all times.

This is a very sharp looking watch! It is surprisingly light, and goes great with casual or more formal wear. The face size is great it is not too big or small. Unlike most other watches all the hands on the watch are very accurate.

A very nice modest looking watch. The comfort could be better but overall a good watch.
