First time flip buyer. Very sturdy and lasting, well made, feel firm, tread is grippy, contoured to shape of foot with a crosshatched pattern on footbed so your feet don't slide around, soft nylon between toes is comfortable. Would love to see this less bulky footbed/sole on Chaco's sandals. Very pleased. Thanks.

When I first tried these on, I was in heaven! But after a few minutes I started to feel a "lump" under the ball of my right foot that did not feel good. I could feel the "lump" or rise of the left one a little but it did not bother my foot like the right one. Is like there are two arch supports on this shoe, one at the actual arch, then one in front of it which does not work for my foot. It may be a difference in my feet so sadly I am having to send them back.

I loved these shoes, but they were far too narrow for my foot. The top strap over the foot is adjustable, but the bottom strap is not, making anyone with a slightly wider foot uncomfortable. I've never had to buy a "wide" shoe, but unfortunately these were way too narrow. Darn! They are so cute!

These are my first pair of Chacos and I almost went for the toe strap but I am really glad I didn't- lots of bad reviews on those. These are so pretty and comfortable! The two small straps compared to the one bigger strap seems it will be just as supportive, I was concerned about that because I do have a foot injury. Easy to adjust, love them!

I own Chaco sandals so had high hopes for this shoe but will be sending it back. The shoe ran at least a half-size long but the wide width was fine. The back of the shoe came up too high on my heal and felt like it would rub blisters within no time. The shoe also felt a bit stiff.

I absolutely love my Chacos. This is my third pair and the pattern and style is perfect.

These were purchased for my daughter who absolutely loves them. Apparently, they are the summer sandals for her age group (12-14). They are not my style.

These are sooo cute! But I have to return them. I can't get the strap to stay put on the left one.It keeps sqeezing my toe.

These are very good-looking shoes. When you want more stability than flip-flops, but less bulkiness than trekking sandals, these could be a good option. The front strap slides under the sole, so you can adjust the width.

I read all the reviews on this sandal and unfortunately they were right. The strap on my right foot continually tightened no matter what I did. Somehow, the left sandal was alright. I was really disappointed b/c i love the look of these slip on and wanted to replace my favorite love-hate Tevas that had absolutely no support. So I'm trying the flip flop Chacos with the additional strap support. :(

Love the blue color of these shoes! Vibrant and very cute. And the comfort is great: wide toe box and good support. They definitely run big, as I went down a whole size from my usual 9 to an 8, and they're still very roomy. However, I have to admit that these shoes look very clunky, and the blue color didn't make up for it. Silly, maybe, but I have plenty of other hiking shoes, so I don't really need them. I just couldn't resist the color, and it absolutely did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend them if you don't mind clunky.

Love my Chacos...they have the best arch support and are so comfortable right out of the box...no problems with the strapping. Great for walking, hiking, and as water shoes.

I have the winter version of these boots, also (Chaco Credence Wool Waterproof Nurl). They are wool lined and warm, and I like them very much. I wanted the lighter-weight boots coming into spring and summer (Chaco Credence Tall Nurl). They look pretty similar, and I expected to have -more or less- the same boot. There are a few key differences: 1. Width. The Tall Nurl is very narrow, whereas the Wool Nurl is wider (thus fitting my fat feet better). 2. Ease. The Tall Nurl -as should be expected- has a taller shaft: 10 inches vs. the Wool Nurl's 8 inches. However, this is just enough of a difference, combined with the narrower footbed, to make them more difficult to get on and off. Perhaps they will stretch out over time and be easier to deal with. 3. Arch support. The Wool Nurl has excellent arch support; these are mediocre at best. 4. Break-in time. With the Wool Nurl, I started wearing them immediately - first around the house for a few days. It became apparent after only two days around the house that they didn't need any more breaking in, and I started to wear them outside the house. I wore these boots almost every day for 6 months and never had a problem. The Tall Nurl, on the other hand, is different. Again, the combination of taller and narrower means these are tough on my heels. Around the house, they rubbed under my ankles, where the folds of the leather were not stiff and bunched up. My main test drive was the weight difference, but it turns out I paid more attention to the rubbing - this was definitely potential for blisters. They were not what I would call comfortable. Overall, I am much less pleased with these boots than with their woolly winter counterparts. I found these ones greatly on sale, so gave them a shot, but will be returning them.

A friend recommended Chacos to me for comfort. I have had two knee replacements and am always looking for a good fit and comfort. Put them on when they arrived and have trouble wearing anything else. Next pair of shoes will be Chacos too!

Really wanted to like this shoe, but it was just not comfortable. Did not have enough support all around.

Update: Turns out that the sandals I received were "mens". That would explain why they did not fit. Not sure how I ended up buying a mens size, but evidently the diamond weave color is not available in women's sizes. Boo hoo.

I have a slim foot and these are really tight. I also suffer from plantar fasciitis and these simply do not have enough heel support.

I have had my single pair of basic black Chaco sandals for 6 years and they look brand new! They are heavier in the footbed than I was accustomed too and certainly stiffer, or as another reviewer wrote about the arch support, more aggressive than my usual Merrells (which I used to love). I have had plantar issues which PT work and custom orthotics have remedied over the past 3 years. I have really come to appreciate my Chacos and decided to give their shoes a try. I didn't want them to look like my Brooks Addictions so this style and color were perfect! Needless to say, Zappos quick delivery made it too easy to obtain a pair of these Torlans and love how they are articulated for flexibility. They mimic my sandals very well in fit. The high back around the heel is very much like my Brooks', a style which I've worn for years, and hug my narrow heels well. I won't need to use my orthotics despite the fact the insert is removable in this shoe because the arch seems to be "aggressive" enough. The lacing system seems to hug my foot well and give a lot of leeway for adjustment. There are even laces in fuchsia to match if you don't like the white ones! Overall, the "look" is right for getting around town and should be great for lots of long walks wherever! My only comment is that Chaco might consider the "curly" laces found in Moto and Guide Ten shoes. They seem to prevent untying quite nicely. I think this Chacos will need a double knot! I usually wear a 7.5 M but the 7.0 works well. Think Chacos run a half-size large.

I have worn Chacos for over 20 years and loved them. The new style is a good look. I don't know if it is because this pair is brand new but they feel flatter than the Chacos I have been wearing. Not bad just different. Chacos sandals last forever, they are expensive but worth it. I have gotten stuck in the mud in the Gulf in mine, tossed them in the washer and they are good to go.

Super cute! But for some reason these size 8's are not the same as my other Chacos. They are a little longer and the webbing is so long that it cannot cinch tight enough to be secure on my foot. I will return for a smaller size. I am normally a size 8 or 8 1/2 but will have to try a 7. Odd, but fingers crossed.

I cannot say enough good things about these sandals! I have been suffering with plantar fasciitis from running for years now. There are admittedly few shoe brands that feel comfortable, let alone supportive enough to quell the pain, but these sandals are it! I cannot believe the comfort! They stay put once tightened; they do not rub or cause blisters; they look awesome; and my heel pain is non-existent while wearing these. I highly recommend these sandals for supreme foot comfort during all of your outdoor and summertime activities!
