Mephisto

These shoes are VERY comfortable. Absolutely NO break-in period. They felt great the first time I put them on. I have had feet trouble in the past, so I make sure I buy shoes with good arch support. In addition to being comfortable, they are sooo cute! It took me a minute to get used to the white sole, but that seems to be a new trend, so I'm embracing it!

Awful! Sized for AA width feet with straight lasts, whereas I have V-shaped feet and B width. My feet fit in the sandals well enough, but the leather is rough and stiff - like unfinished hide that was left out in the hot sun. The worse part of this is that my width across the forefoot caused the straps to bulge out at the sides rather than lay flat. Fail. Again, a person with super straight feet may be able to wear these., but why bother when there are so many better options - I went for the color. This leather is now found on a number of Mephisto styles, including clogs. Makes them super uncomfortable, especially without socks. Who's at the drawing board? Nothing about this sandal says lux. Pass.

It is super soft and comfy. I like the sand color and was not sure I would but it is neutral and nice. This is nicely made and true to size.

I have 10 pair of this shoe, I typically llove them, but the stitching on this pair is sharp and irritating so I am returning them

Nice looking shoe, however, the foot bed feels harder, less cushioned than other Mephisto lace-up models. Uncomfortable for my feet. I returned them.

As has been mentioned by others, the shoe ran small so I ordered it up one size. The shoes were very comfortable, looked great and could be worn immediately without a break in period. Unfortunately, one shoe was too tight in the instep because of swelling from a previously broken foot. The shoes were returned.

Very hard leather - not like the usual Mephistos I get.

I like the sandals but the left one made noise with every step, like air was being expelled. Since the right sandal was quiet, I thought it was a flaw.

True to size, I liked the style and look but the edges of the leather are sharp so uncomfortable. Maybe they would smooth out after wearing for a while

I have feet that need supportive soles to keep my pronation in check. I also need heel support for the same reason. I tried different brands (Kuru, Keen, Paul Green) and settled on this shoe. It's lightweight but supportive. They're not big and clunky. I like their light gray color and their style.

These are a wonderful fit and use them everywhere day or evening. Very Comfortable!

Have bought a pair of Mephisto Helen sandals yearly for part 8 yrs

These are so comfortable. They're like wearing sneakers only stylish. They're worth the spend. Classic style. Will have them for many years.

True to size since there should be room at toe and heel. Unfortunately the strapping has sharp edges and is uncomfortable for me. Well made.

Very nice shoe that was too wide and a little big in length for me. Size down would not have fit. Did not bother right toe joint bunion, but found sole made shoe uncomfortable on me. Felt ridges when I walked in the house.

I have purchased these shoes numerous times before and this ifsthe fist pair that seem snug.

I love this shoe and have the same style from years ago. It is SO small compared to my older shoe - and very uncomfortable. If it fit right, I'd buy multiple colors.

The leather is way to hard...I'd have blisters if I wore these for any length of time.

These shoes seem to run a full size smaller (my husband needs to order one full size down from what he normally buys).

These shoes are amazing. I wore them for 4 seasons, including daily use, multiple vacations, and 2 pregnancies. They held up so well, are comfortable and cute, and I always got complements. I wanted a comfort sandal with a bit more style and these fit the bill perfectly. One of my best shoe purchases ever - getting ready to buy another pair!

I love the Mephisto Helen because they are refined and make my feet feel 3 dimensional again. I don’t realize how flat my feet feel until I slip them on. Glorious. They aren’t clunky wide like many Birkenstocks are and the foot bed is comfortable and gets even more so over time. I have two pair and I cannot wait for summer.
