It took 2 wears before this shoe was perfectly comfortable. But now I love it. I love the style...it goes with so many types of outfits. The color is deep and nice. Comfy all day at work and around town. I've never tried to walk across a city with them, but I'm guessing they aren't really made for that sort of all day walking.
Born Needs to make 1/2 sizes. I tried 10 ( which I normally wear), but they were to big. The 9 were to small.
I'm not sure if it's my feet or the shoes, but they cut into my arch where the upper arch of the sandal attaches to the footbed. Maybe it just comes up too high, or maybe it's the stitching style? Sent them back. Too bad, because they were really cute.
I wear a 6.5 wide, width is snug but I can tell because of quality of leather it would stretch. I am under 5 feet tall so the height on it is great! Because of platform I think they are also comfortable (and I had bunion surgery 2011).

Almost perfect! Very well made and comfortable shoe. For me, I felt that they were too pointy. More like a jazz shoe than a saddle shoe. I guess I was hoping for something a little more old-fashioned. But I'm still giving them 4 stars because they are very nice shoes, just not for me.
Yeah... These are amazing. Really nice style and super cushy. Softest gladiator I've tried on. I also looked at the gentle souls version but I really like the laces on these and the comfort level is out of this world, did I mention? I was hesitant to get born shoes. I've never had a pair and I worried they would look mom-like or granola. They are neither. Just a nice, neutral sandal. Maybe a little generic. I wear a 9/9.5 and ordered a 10. Fits great and of course the lacing makes the adjustable lacing makes the fit perfect. It's worth noting to people with very wide fee that the two straps at the end of the foot, at the toes, are not two separate pieces but one. I don't have wide feet so it wasn't an issue for me.
Way cuter in person! I was really leery of these, but I am so pleased with what they actually look like. One tiny complaint: they don't fit like Born's non-sandal styles. I don't know if that's true across the board for their sandals or if this is a special case, but the toe strap is much tighter than their shoes normally are. I would have sized up to a "wide" had I known this. (I'm hoping the leather stretches a bit, though.)
These shoe's are lovely, very comfortable. I bought them in the black and brown in a 7 and they fit perfectly.
These are awesome sandals. I can't say enough good things about them. I wear them in the office and they provide a good height with padding and comfort. I love the aesthetic since they look like a cross between a Mexican sandal and a contemporary sandal. I have wide feet and but they fit my toes perfectly while looking tres chic!
As with all of my Born shoes, this one is very comfortable and is a great color. I bought two colors and love both of them.
Super comfortable, simple sandal. Padded foot bed feels great, and it doesn't pinch where the bottom strap hits my foot. Love these for casual wear when you want a bit of heel.
These shoes are SO comfy!! The straps are so soft but sturdy and they don't dig in anywhere. I'm getting another pair!
I looked around forever for sandals that were cute and comfy enough for work and around town - these fit the bill perfectly! Super comfy (no break in required) with a cushioned foot bed and soft leather straps. They look super cute with skirts and jeans alike. They are wider in the toe area than I would like so the front half of my foot flops around a bit, but not a huge deal overall though I have not tried walking miles in them yet.
My 3rd pair of Borns, the 2nd pair of sandals from them. Absolutely love them! Heel height is sassy, makes me a little tall being 5'11" barefoot. But, oh! the comfort - wore them all day to teach, even playground duty, and not a single rub, blister or bit of breaking in to do! These shoes are high quality, funky but classic style, and worth the money.
Extremely comfortable for a gladiater styled shoe. Fits my slightly wide foot extremely well.
WOW, I am impressed! Perfect fit, perfect styling, perfect conmfort, great price and delivery in less than 24 hours--who could ask for more??!! I tried multiple times unsuccessfully to find Dansko and Clog brand clogs that fit on another site and in specialty stores--these Borns are the best clogs I've ever worn (I'm on my feet all day) and Zappos service is amazing--5 stars all around!!
Love these! The perfect neutral platform. They are bit higher then I normally wear, but the heel makes them very sturdy. I have several Born sandals, from wedges to flats and I always find them to be true to size and very comfortable. Try these with skinny colored jeans and a flowing top...you won't be disappointed!
These arrived so quickly! True to size and very comfortable. I've been trying to find a comfortable shoe that was also cute. Got these in green and am pleased.
I have a really hard time finding flats that are both comfortable and cute, but these were a winner on both fronts. I was nervous about how they would wear given that the bottom has a good deal of exposed leather rather than a full rubber sole, but I have worn these nearly every day for the last month and they are holding up great with no signs of wear thus far. They are also extremely comfortable - not quite as cushiony as other Born flats but I like that they seem to more closely mimic being barefoot while providing a little support. All in all I am very pleased with these shoes & the neutral color goes with everything.
