These shoes feel amazing. They have great arch support and are smooth on the inside of the shoe (no need for socks). Unfortunately I am sending them back. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5. Based on other reviews, I initially order a 7.5. The width of the 7.5 was perfect, but my toes were jammed into the ends of the shoes. So I ordered an 8 to see if they would fit better. My feet were totally swimming in the size 8 with huge gaps along the sides and tops of the shoe. I actually checked to see if I had somehow received a wide width by accident, but that was not the case. It seems the fit/sizing is just inconsistent.

These are pretty good insoles but the arch is actually too high or too firm. Made my plantar fasciitis hurt more.

This shoe runs very large. I normally wear a 9M or 9.5M - efinitely should have ordered a 9M instead of the 9.5. It has very good arch support and had it fit, I think it would have been very comfortable.

I thought this shoe would be the best yet, but the arch doesn't seem to be in the right place for me. Think I ordered a size small. Perhaps an 8 would have worked better. Waiting for the Naot shoes to come. Hope they will work better for me.

I have fussy feet and I've been trying to find footwear for quite a while. I ordered these in a size 10. I normally would take the 9 1/2. The other reviews said they ran small, but these tens were way too big for me!!! So I sent them back. They were a bit of a different shoe. So I didn't try to go for a smaller size because I don't think they would work for me one way or the other.

I'm becoming an expert in orthopedic sneakers. I bought these after broken ankle surgery in order to transition to full weight-bearing. Unfortunately my ankle was so swollen I couldn't wear them, so started rehab with a pair of stretchy Vionics (and they are great too.) Now that my swelling has subsided and I can wear these, I am amazed. I can walk pain-free without my cane! They're a tad tight (my bad foot is still a little swollen) so I've ordered the same style a half size up in order to wear them with compression socks in Europe in a couple of weeks. These shoes are brilliant!

Comfortable except a half size too small (short in length) for a size 10 medium.

Great shoes, I tried the Rio and they kept coming off my heel. The Mary Jane is true to size and doesn't come off my heel. I like the suede accents and the arch insole is comfortable. I also like how you can adjust how soft/hard the soles/heels are by removing the rubber bars in the heel.

These shoes could be really nice, but, the fit is off. I read many reviews about them sliding off the heel and ordered anyway. They do slip off the heel badly and I figured out why. I wear a 9.5 in all styles of shoes. I ordered a 9.5. and these had nearly and inch of space at the back of the heel so no way these would stay on. They have a GREAT wider toe box and that allows the foot to slide forward out of the heel. I order a 9 instead and the fit is much better. But, they still slip off my heel. I like the suede, I like the insole a lot and I like that you can adjust how stiff/hard the heel is by removing the rubber bars. Since these really want to come off my feet. I ordered the Mary Jane 2.0 and problem solved. In the Mary Jane, they were true to fit and I needed a 9.5. If you have trouble with these, try the mary janes.

This shoe was a little matronly in person. If I was in my 70's this could have been a mildly supportive yet stylish shoe, but I am a 35 year old bartender who is on her feet all day.

Just received my exchange for this mary jane style, my first size 10 was way to small so I mentioned in previous review to buy 1 size up , really disappointed , the length still a touch to short and very narrow toe box , the shoe has excellent support and had it been available in wide width it might work, not sure why a Company making theraputic type shoes does,nt have many widths available? I think they are losing a lot of potential customers. There,s alot of us out there that need this because we have full length orthotics. By the way you could even skip orthos with this shoe because it has such great support already built in . Not sure if I,ll try any of there other styles or not .

cute shoes - disappointed! They have a great insole w arch support and nice tread. But the toe box is short and narrows in the toe. Therafit, it would be great if make these in wide. I definitely had to go a size up - I normally wear a 7.5 w. The softness of the shoe was nice around my bunion. The shoe has potential but ultimately fails on the fit. Disappointed!

Cute shoes - great insoles but the size is a bit smaller definitely go a size up. The toe box is very small both in length and in width especially around the toe. It does strength around my bunions, very nice (size 8 instead of 7.5)

If you order this shoe order at least 1 size larger,I was sent my normal size and I couldn,t get my smaller foot in the shoe. I will reorder a size larger however it runs so small not sure if that will do it because no half sizes . It appears to have great support a little on the shallow side if you have a big orthotic it probably won,t fit, but they do have orther styles to choose from .

I do not have any trouble with the strap being long enough, as others have mentioned. I am very disappointed in the look of this shoe, however. There is far too much white (hundreds of polka dots). I would much prefer a solid navy blue, or solid black. So, even if this shoe fit perfectly, I probably wouldn't keep it due to how it looks. Now, it has a very beefy removable sole that has a heel cup. It is rather hard feeling. I'm not sure I could wear it all day without it hurting me. If you wear the shoe with this sole in it, then the sides and back of the shoe doesn't come up far enough to be comfortable. The shoe needs to be made much deeper to accommodate this thick orthothic. When I take it out, the shoe fits much better, however you do have to put some kind of sole insert into it, you cannot wear it the way it is. I suppose I could buy an insert and wear these and they would be comfortable, but I do not think I can get past the white polka dots.

Excellent shoe if you suffer from plantar fascitis or have a falling arch.

I was excited to find this shoe because I have a bunion and an arthritic foot and this shoe has been wonderful to wear as an indoor support shoe. I am really disappointed however that now, after only 6 months, the velcro no longer holds which makes the shoe basically unsafe and useless - will unfortunately have to go back to Dansko's or a more trusted brand.....

I had ordered this a half-size smaller (it was the second pair I ordered) but this pair seemed smaller than the first pair. I am returning it for a half-size larger. Love the shoe...very comfortable when it fits properly.

These insoles proved to be a disappointing purchase. I was looking forward to receiving them thinking they would transform my other shoes into the perfect comfort of my Therafit sneakers. They do not. For the price the insoles cost, they should be sized. Truly sized. Instead they must be cut to fit lengthwise and widthwise. Guide lines or not, can anyone really cut these things evenly? I think not. Will not buy these again.
