2XU Reviews
Expected more for the price. I thought a triathlon company would focus more on moisture wicking, but this becomes a soaking wet mess after an hour of activity which makes it less supportive. Started chafing under the band and left me with a very painful chafe mark. It's got adjustments for the shoulders and for the band. The material doesn't pinch or chafe elsewhere - but the band material is awful. Disappointing.
The tops are not as comfortable as the bottoms and other accessories this company makes. Sizing is very hard to judge and the arm seams are too tight.
I really like these shorts. I have been looking for a athletic short without the padding. I love the fit. They are very cool (Temp) to workout in.
The waist is very low cut. The material is pretty thin compared to the CW-X Pro so probably among the cooler compression tights.

These 2XU tights are great. Many other brands are more geared toward compression during workouts and these are clearly more snug and feel effective. Of course you can't beat Zappos for service and shipping - they are fast!
These are great. I have several different pairs of compression shorts from Under Armour and these are not only lighter and more flexible but give better overall support.
I own two pairs. Purchased primarily for the storage - shorts have 4 pockets - one on each leg and two in the back - perfect for storing GU gels and other small supplies. Shorts are light weight and comfortable. Leg grippers are tight enough to keep shorts in place - but are not overly constrictive or uncomfortable. I like the fact that my shorts do not ride up. I have been using my shorts on a regular and consistent basis for marathon and triathlon training.
The best thing about this tri shorts is that it has 4 pockets nicely placed, two on the legs and two in the back. The ones on the legs are in the bottom, so they do not interfere with your race belt, the ones in the back are in the small of your back, so they sit nice and flat. The chamois is more cushy than most tri shorts, it seems more appropriate for a half or full IM, which I also like. What I don't like is that the leg bottom band is too tight. You can even see it on the model on the ad picture, and she's not that muscular. The other thing I didn't like is that the lettering on one of the legs came out after the first wash, and is almost gone after the second. Not my problem, is mostly 2xU loss, there's less advertisement for them. (may be don't use the dryer?) Overall I like the shorts, the fabric is pretty soft, and they feel comfortable on my hips, it's just the leg's bottom band that are a bit too tight for the size.
